Across the country, teachers have lost their rights to bargain for decent salaries, benefits, and working conditions. Some groups are working to take away those basic rights from Connecticut teachers, too. Learn how to protect your rights and why standing united is more important than ever at the CEA Summer Conference this August.
This year’s conference is being held at the Red Lion Hotel in Cromwell, August 6-7, and is focused on organizing, working conditions, and member engagement. Participants can choose one workshop that takes place over the two days on topics from addressing aggressive student behavior to negotiations to being an advocate for your profession. In addition, all participants will receive training on member engagement, signing up members, and action planning.
