Educator Resources from the Connecticut Science Center
Teachers have rapidly had to learn a variety of new online platforms, tools, and strategies—and CEA’s member benefits partner, the Connecticut Science Center, is supporting your professional learning needs through a variety of online and social media platforms.
Educators’ Hub on Facebook
The Science Center has started a new Facebook group specifically with teachers in mind. The new Educators’ Hub Facebook group is the place to go to meet fellow educators while learning, collaborating, and just being social.
Join the Science Center for 10 minutes of powerful professional learning that has been thoughtfully designed to meet educators’ needs remotely. The aim is to provide you with quick and easy strategies that you can use outside of the classroom.
Endless Resources for You to Explore
The Connecticut Science Center’s blog is a great resource for information and entertainment. Some of the professional learning articles include: Teaching Science from Home, Notebooking, NGSS Basics, and much more. This is a great resource for any educator.
Lunch Bunch: Animal Encounter
If you have children at home with you, tune in to the Science Center’s Facebook page every Tuesday and Thursday at noon and enjoy Facebook LIVE: Lunch Bunch Animal Encounters. You and your children can interact with Science Center Staff live, ask questions, and learn about the education ambassador animals.
