CT Teachers Join National Walk-In Rallies to Support Public Education Funding
Hundreds of Connecticut students, teachers, and community members gathered together at schools across the state this morning, in support of fully funding public schools. They were part of a movement of walk-ins held at more than 2,000 schools nationwide.
Vernon, Manchester, Bridgeport and other Connecticut school districts participated in the walk-ins.
CEA President Sheila Cohen led a rally outside Rockville High School in Vernon before participants symbolically walked into the school building in a show of unity.
