1. Acrostic Mother’s Day Poems

Students in grades 1-2 write acrostic poems for Mother’s Day.

2. Mother’s Day Activities

3. Stand-Up Mom

With this printable decoration, students in grades K-2 color, cut out, and fold stand-up moms, and then attach a heart to one hand and write a special message on her apron.

4. Make Mom Happy Game

In this board game, students in grades K-2 take a task card and do what it says to make Mom happy. The first player to reach the finish line is the winner.

5. Woven Hearts

Students in grades K-2 cut out the two patterns and weave a paper heart for Mom.

6. Wordle

Students in grades K-12 can create Mother’s Day Wordles. The Wordle software generates “word clouds” from provided text, giving greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. Students can adjust fonts, layouts, and color schemes. Students can print them out or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with their friends.

7. Mother’s Day Gift Project: Make a Stained Glass Vase

Students in grades K-12 create faux stained glass vases with glass bottles and colored tissue paper.
