Your Chance to Tell Legislators What’s Happening in Your School

Many of you have voiced concerns about the rapid changes in public education and their impact on students. CEA officers and staff have shared your concerns with state policymakers, and now they want to hear directly from you.
Let your voice be heard. Join your colleagues and participate in Regional Teacher Meetings with state legislators. This is your opportunity to tell legislators about meaningful changes that will improve education in Connecticut.
Meetings are free and will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Food will be provided.
Register for a meeting in your area by clicking here and logging in with your member ID. If you don’t know your member ID, you can look it up here.

Locations are not very convenient for those of us in the Danbury and New Milford area
Hi Kevin – Sorry the locations aren’t more convenient for those in your area. We tried to cover as much of the state as possible using venues that could accommodate the event.
I agree Kevin. I live in Danbury and work in Ridgefield. I would love to attend one of these forums. My school day doesn’t even end until 4…I couldn’t make it to Fairfield on time.
