This year the Connecticut Education Foundation (CEF), CEA’s charitable organization, is again sponsoring the Holiday Bear Project. This project brings CEA members, the public, businesses, and needy public school students together during the holiday season.

Emily Taylor, a social worker at Helen Street School in Hamden, has been involved with Holiday Bear for many years.  She sees what a great help Holiday Bear is to families in her community.

Listen to Taylor speaking about why Holiday Bear is so important to needy children and families. (1 minute 23 seconds)

This year five hundred children throughout the state will benefit from this program.  Sponsor forms will be accepted on an ongoing basis until all nominated children have sponsors.
