2009 New Teacher Conference at Mohegan Sun

On Saturday, March 21, new teachers from around Connecticut gathered at Mohegan Sun for the annual CEA conference.  Check out some photos of the conference here.

The 2009 conference offered 13 breakout sessions on subjects from special education principles and practices to podcasting.

The keynote address by Sally Ogden was titled “Words Will Never Hurt Me: Dealing with Power Struggles, Difficult
People and Put Downs”.

Sally Ogden is an energetic and charismatic teacher and speaker with 32 years of classroom experience. She has taught French and Psychology in both middle and senior high schools in Jefferson County, Colorado. Currently, she directs workshops and conferences for teachers and parents throughout the United States.
